There is a disease that is spreading around America faster than the coronavirus. It’s a disease called, Calvinism. Those who are infected by this disease teach others that God, in His sovereignty, before the beginning of time, looked into eternity’s future and picked the people that He would redeem, and everyone else was out of luck. They teach that if you are part of the “Elect” then you are in! But, if God didn’t “Choose” you, then there isn’t enough “Gospel” to save you. You are as good as in hell.
I can’t find the vocabulary to write how INSANE this ideology is. Not only is it insane, but it is also as far from biblical as you can get. The Word of God is very clear that salvation is for, “Whosoever Will!” Jesus died for the ENTIRE world. You, me, your family, my family, your town, my town, and everyone in between.
The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
So before you get infected with this consuming disease, make sure you take necessary precautions to prevent infection. You simply need to ingest large amounts of the Word of God to prevent any chances of catching the “Calvinismvirus!”
