Revelation gives us a glimpse of what is waiting for us on the other side. For the child of God, we can take comfort in knowing, that this world is not our home, we’re just passing through. The fact that we have this wonderful promise should cause us to do everything we can, to tell everyone we can, about this place called heaven.
The amazing thing about heaven is anyone can go. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is, how rich or how poor you are, who you know or don’t know, where you’re from or what you’ve done, you can go to heaven. How can we know that heaven will be our eternal home after we die? It’s very simple. The Bible says, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” – John 14:6. Jesus is the only way to heaven.
Your good works, denomination, political status, bank account, or social status will not get you into heaven. You must put your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. The Bible says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9
If you aren’t ready for heaven, there’s no better time to solidify your eternal destiny than today! Now is the time! Don’t put it off another moment!
