Today’s devotional hopefully will open your eyes to what the devil is doing in our society. You see just as much as there is real salvation, there is also counterfeit salvation. Counterfeit salvation has plagued our society. Counterfeit salvation teaches that someone can pray a prayer, sign a card, repeat after me, and be ok with God all while continuing to live in their sin. Counterfeit salvation convinces a man it’s ok to cuss like a sailor, sleep around on your wife, lie, cuss, cheat, and steal, but because you said a prayer when you were a little kid at Bible camp, then you are saved. Friends that isn’t the salvation of the Bible.
The Bible is clear that when true salvation takes place in a person’s life, there WILL BE A CHANGE! A change of nature, a change of desire, a change from the inside out! If there is no change, there has never been a true conversion.
Contrary to what modern Christianity teaches, you can’t love the world and live like the world, and truly be converted. Friends, have you ever been CHANGED? Are you clinging on to counterfeit salvation that the devil offers, or do you have the real thing?
My prayer is that each person that reads this devotional today, knows without a doubt, that their salvation is REAL…AUTHENTIC…GENUINE.
