God loves you and He proved that by sending His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die just for YOU. God wants you to experience peace and eternal life that only comes through putting your faith and trust in His Son.
The Bible says:
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” – Romans 5:1
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16
“I [Jesus] am come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.” -John 10:10
Why don’t most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have? The reason is SIN.
The Bible says:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
Sin separates us from God. People have tried in many different ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God but The Bible says:
“There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, But the end thereof are the ways of death.” – Proverbs 14:12
“For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;” -Isaiah 59:12
No bridge can reach God… except one.
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sins and bridged the gap between God and mankind.
The Bible says:
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” – 1 Timothy 2:5
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” – 1 Peter 3:18
“But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
God has provided the only way… Each person must make a choice…
We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him into our life.
The Bible says:
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” – John 1:12
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9
Will you receive Jesus Christ into your life and repent of your sins right now?
Here is how you can receive Christ:
Admit your need. (I am a sinner.)•
Be willing to turn from your sins (repent) and ask for God’s forgiveness.•
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.•
Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Jesus as Lord and Savior)•
We suggest a prayer like this one:
“Dear God, I know without a doubt that I am a sinner. I want to repent of my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe with all of my heart that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sins and that You raised Him to life. I want Him to come into my heart and to take control of my life. I want to trust Jesus as my Lord and Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
